Youth evangelism: "Equipping the youth to take the Advent Message to the North of England and to all the world in this last generation."

The real purpose of the youth department is two fold:

  1. The nurture of our young people to accept Jesus and their Lord and Saviour.
  2. To engage our young people in the life and mission of the church.

Discipleship (training) and evangelism (witnessing) must be the emphasis and practice of an effective youth ministry.

The North England Conference Youth Department trains its youth through a balanced and varied array of programs and initiatives. We also encourage and place young adults in overseas evangelism through the Adventist Volunteer Service ministry and locally through the ASI Youth 4 Jesus project, as well as the NEC Task Force Worker placements.
